Davido meets Rio Ferdinand

Rio Ferdinand is in Nigeria. The former Manchester United captain and legend has, over the years, been a fan favorite in Nigeria. In Lagos, he’s a titled chief even.

Ferdinand’s visit is business-inclined, and as such he’s met some persons within the organization he represents (Guinness).

As part of a welcome package, Davido entertained the football legend with a performance. Davido was present with his longtime friend and manager Asa Asika. An obviously excited Ferdinand took to his Instagram to post pictures of them.

Ceeboi continues his artistic mission with the release of a new single titled “Don’t Let Me Go.” On this song, he features the gifted GoodGirlLA. Their pairing creates a sweet soulful love song, which is now available for streaming.

“Don’t Let Me Go” demonstrates what we already know about Ceeboi – his versatility. He has performed as a speedster rapper, a feel-good singer, and now he is tender-touching hearts with his profound lyrics and passionate singing. His partner, Goodgirl LA is in her zone, using her emotion-evoking vocals to brilliant effect.

Ceeboi’s evolution has been beautiful to watch. It is inspiring: watching him step up as a dancer, move on to demonstrate his Hip-Hop credentials, and now serving music that is rich in it’s Afrobeats elements, likewise in the message it holds. Ceeboi partnered with his label mate and regular collaborator, Krizbeatz to publish “Protégée” in 2018. He later released “Super Woman” in 2019 to celebrate African women.

”Don’t Let Me Go” is another fine addition to the long list of Ceeboi songs. It is all the sign needed to conclude that there’s a lot of artistic growing going on with Ceeboi, Oluwatobi Ibironke, music journalist said. “The song excites me.”
