British boxer Anthony Joshua has insisted that the fight with his countryman, Tyson Fury, could still happen even without the belts. He made this known after his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.

Joshua was speaking at a press conference after the fight. He said he is interested in the fight with Fury after losing his belts, according to reports from Sky Sports on Sunday, September 26th, 2021.

Usyk ripped Joshua off his WBA, IBF, WBO belts after a fantastic fight, which lead to a unanimous decision by the judges at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The road to undisputed and all that stuff, it's good. As I said, I'll fight Tyson Fury or Wilder without the belts. The belts are fun. It's great, it's legacy. But with or without the belts, I will fight whoever. The road to undisputed is a nice title to have a nice title to chase.

But would you still watch it without the belts? That's the main thing, are you've got two competitive fighters in the ring from UK soil, that just want to go toe-to-toe.

Joshua also spoke about how he is looking forward to a rematch between himself and Usyk.

I'm ready to get back to training. Because of the 12 rounds, my lungs and everything, it was a good 12-rounder, so I'll be in a good place when I get back into training to pick up where we left off.

Usyk is currently the WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO World Heavyweight Champion.

Sky Sports reported the news on its website on Sunday, September 26th, 2021. He said the suspension of the Belgian League in 2020 was one of the reasons he is quitting the sports. The French man also spoke about how his suspension hurt him after he was accused of taking drugs.

The 34-year-old played for Sevilla on loan then he moved to Antalyaspor and West Ham after he left the Citizens.

An incident really hurt me and changed my relationship with football: my suspension. I found it more than unfair, as I didn't take any drugs. It was just an injection of vitamins because I was sick. It stopped me in my tracks.

There was an emotional side to it, but also the idea of being a player and somehow a staff member, too. As I'd like to coach, I thought I would learn the job with him (Kompany), but it didn't go as planned. Then the league was suspended due to Covid.

After that, I didn't necessarily have the motivation any more. No challenge suited me. And I couldn't see myself coming back to France if it wasn't at Olympique Marseille.

Verstappen's starting from the back of the grid ensured that Hamilton's advantage is only two points. The rain was a major disadvantage for Noris, who took his first pole position on Saturday during practice.

He was leading five laps to go when the rain started, but Verstappen, who was at the seventh position, was the first who changed his tyres to suit the weather.

Arsenal showed a masterclass performance in the North London Derby by beating Tottenham 3-1. Arsenal were coming into the game with confidence, while Spurs were on a low coming into the game.

It was a game of two teams with two different stories coming into the fixture. Tottenham won their first three games without conceding a while as the Gunners lost their opening three games without scoring a goal. Spurs were on top of the Premier League table while Arsenal was bottom of the table heading into the International break.

The Gunners started this game with loads of firepower, which gave the home side a lot to cheer about. Arsenal got the first goal of the game on the 13th minute from the boots of Smith Rowe, who connected to a ball from Bukayo Saka to give the Gunners the lead. Arsenal continued to show their dominance in the game with the next chance falling to Thomas Partey, whose shot was saved by Lloris in goal.

Tottenham had a few chances of their own but Son shot did not harm to Ramsdale in goal, while Harry Kane's effort minutes later went high and wide at Arsenal's post. The Gunners extended their lead on the 30th minute through the club's captain Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, who connected to a swift pass from the scorer of the first goal.

The home fans were sent on their feet minutes later when Saka ran through Spurs defense, an attempt by Harry Kane to stop the English man, but he could not stop the youngster. Arsenal went into the break leading Spurs 3-0.

The second half was even between both sides, Arsenal sat back to secure their three goals lead, but the first real action of the game came in the 55th minute when Kane was brought down in the box by Ben White but the referee and VAR saw nothing wrong with the challenge.

Kane almost got a goal back for Spurs in the 61st minute, but Ramsdale saved his effort. The rebound ball was cleared by Tomiyasu before Son could reach it. Son finally found the back of the net on the 78th minute to reduce the deficit to 3-1. There were half-chances created by the visitors after the goal, but none could find the back of the net.

Arsenal won the game 3-1 against Tottenham. The Gunners have now gone above their rivals on the league table.

A triple eviction has been made in the BBNaija house this evening, with Saga, Nini, and Queen joining the list of evicted housemates this year.

Nini, Saga, and Queen were evicted from the BBNaija house after gathering the least amount of votes in the latest round of voting. This happened on Sunday, the 26th of September 2021.

Nigerian prolific singer, songwriter and performer, Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele, popularly known as Oritsefemi, who was involved in a ghastly motor accident but survived, has spoken up since the incident.

The 'double wahala' crooner was involved in an accident today, September 26th 2021, after his car somersaulted at Saapade, Ogun state. Thankfully, no life was lost, but injuries were sustained.

Taking to his Instagram page to speak after the incident, Oritsefemi thanked his fans and also urged the Nigerian government to repair the bad roads and build better hospitals. He wrote:

Thank you so much for all the well wishes.
There is a thin line between life and death.
I’m thankful to still be alive. Accident is not something you wish on your enemy.
It was really scary but God came through.

Ghanaian songstress Cina Soul has released a new EP which she titled 'For Times We Lost'

Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and recording artist Christie Quincyna Quarcoopome, popularly known as Cina Soul, has released a new project titled 'For Times We Lost'.

Cina Soul, a finalist at the 2014 Vodafone Ghana Music Icons competition held in Accra, dished out the 5-track project which features Ghanaian singer KiDi. 

The singer serenaded the listeners with soothing music on the classic R&B/Soul project.

Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Switch, has made it clear that she never sought asylum in Canada, as a lot of people thought.

Nigerian disc jockey, Obianuju Catherine Udeh, popularly known as DJ Switch, has made it clear that she never sought asylum in Canada, as a lot of people thought.

Last October, the talented celebrity DJ made headlines when she live-streamed the shooting of innocent protesters during the #EndSARS protest.

After the incident, news spread that DJ Switch, for the safety of her life, had been granted asylum in Canada. However, after almost a year, she finally decided to clear the air, stating that she had never sought asylum in Canada but had instead been living in a house in Nigeria.

According to her Instagram story post, she urged the Nigerian media to verify news before spreading it, further stating that she is set to relocate outside the country and it isn't Canada she is going to. She wrote:

But let me say this… news outlets and bloggers, I know traffic is the game but when you don’t really investigate properly and run with things that you don’t know for sure or have verified, you sincerely hurt and, in some cases, cause serious complications for people in ‘real life’.

I’ve been cooked up in a house for months. I never got asylum in Canada. I didn’t even step foot into Canada. I didn’t even speak to anyone who claimed they spoke to me on the issue. Anyways, I will leave it there. By the way, it is now that I am traveling… and not to Canada! Love!

Former Manchester United's manager, Sir Alex Ferguson has hailed the impact of Cristiano Ronaldo since rejoining the team. The Portuguese joined the Red Devils during the last transfer summer window from Juventus.

Ferguson was speaking in an interview with was reported by Sky Sports on Monday, September 27th, 2021. The Scottish man spoke about the dedication that Ronaldo puts into games and training when he came to the club in 2003 from Sporting Lisbon.

Sir Alex was in the stands to watch Ronald make his second debut for the club against Newcastle at Old Trafford on September 11th, 2021.

Ronaldo has scored four goals since he joined Manchester United for the second time. He scored two against Newcastle, one against Young Boys in the Champions League, and one in the Premier League against West Ham.

Manchester City's manager, Pep Guardiola, has given a hint about the possibility of Bernardo Silva leaving the club. He was speaking at a press conference after Saturday's victory against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Guardiola told Sky Sports News that he believes Silva is happy at the club, looking at his passion and dedication to the club.

The Portuguese still have four years left on his contract, but rumours are coming from the Etihad Stadium that the player might leave the club.

All I want is for Bernardo to be happy, here or anywhere. All I want is his happiness because he is a guy that deserves the best. He's so intuitive, it's not his role as a holding midfielder, but he knows exactly how to play and how to anticipate what is going to happen, with the ball or without the ball.

Against Norwich he played exceptionally, Arsenal he played exceptionally, Southampton who played at the level of the team was not good.

But how well he played against Chelsea is no surprise. How many times have we seen it? He was an incredible signing for us because he's an exceptional person.

Silva has started five games in Manchester City's six Premier League games this season. He has been impressive so far, playing alongside Rodri in the attack.
