Nigerian rap veteran Ice Prince has dropped his much-anticipated EP Starters, in collaboration with longtime producer and associate Chopstix. Released under Ice Prince’s Super Cool Cats label and Chocolate City Music, the 8-track project features a stellar lineup of Nigerian talents, including Bella Shmurda, Tml Vibez, Psycho YP, and Ajebo Hustlers, delivering a vibrant mix of Afro-fusion, rap, and street anthems. The EP, which Ice Prince announced via social media earlier this year, has been teased since April, building significant anticipation among fans eager for new music from the OG rapper.

Starters kicks off with a high-energy vibe, showcasing Ice Prince’s lyrical dexterity and Chopstix’s signature production style, which blends thumping beats with melodic undertones. A standout track, Loke, features Bella Shmurda and Tml Vibez, fusing Ice Prince’s sharp rap flow with Bella Shmurda’s raw street appeal, known from his 2019 hit Vision 2020, and Tml Vibez’s fresh energy, creating a dynamic Afro-fusion sound. Other tracks on the EP explore themes of resilience, camaraderie, and celebration, reflecting Ice Prince’s journey from his early days in Jos to his current status as a Nigerian music veteran. The project’s diverse features highlight Ice Prince’s commitment to bridging generational gaps, spotlighting both established and emerging artists like Psycho YP, whose trap-infused style adds a modern edge, and Ajebo Hustlers, known for their Pidgin rap anthems.

Ice Prince, who rose to fame with his 2011 hit Oleku and debut album Everybody Loves Ice Prince, has a storied career marked by collaborations with African rap heavyweights like Sarkodie and AKA, as well as global recognition, including a 2013 BET Award. His move to independence with Super Cool Cats in 2015, after leaving Chocolate City, has allowed him to experiment with his sound, a trend that continues with Starters. The EP follows his 2023 project To Be Continued, which offered introspective glimpses into his challenges, and aligns with his recent teases of a full-length album featuring MI Abaga and Jesse Jagz.

Available now on all major streaming platforms, Starters positions Ice Prince as a veteran who remains relevant, blending his foundational rap roots with contemporary Afrobeats influences. The collaboration with Chopstix, a producer he’s worked with since 2012 on hits like Aboki, underscores a partnership that continues to yield electrifying results, making Starters a promising kickoff to Ice Prince’s 2025 journey.

Nigerian Afro-Teme and reggae sensation Wizard Chan, born Fuayefika Maxwell, has made a striking return to the music scene with his latest single OLIVER. The track, produced by Pumba Mix, serves as a bold follow-up to his earlier 2025 release FLAKO featuring ODUMODUBLVCK and marks his second single of the year, offering a glimpse into his forthcoming album. Hailing from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Wizard Chan has built a reputation for his genre-blending sound since his 2020 debut Halo Halo, with Earth Song in 2022 cementing his rise to prominence and earning him accolades at The Headies and Galaxy Music Awards in 2023.

OLIVER is a gritty street anthem that fuses raw Afro-street energy with unfiltered lyrical storytelling, showcasing Wizard Chan’s commanding delivery and bold persona. The title, a slang nod to “Oliver Twist,” symbolizes an unrelenting drive for success and street authenticity, resonating with those who thrive through struggle and demand respect. The track’s high-octane beat, crafted by Pumba Mix, pulses with infectious rhythms and bold production, making it a captivating listen that reflects Wizard Chan’s roots and ambition.

The release has generated significant excitement, with Wizard Chan teasing the track earlier this week and fans eagerly streaming it across platforms as of this morning. Building on the success of FLAKO, which highlighted his collaborative prowess, OLIVER stands alone as a powerful statement of self-assurance, drawing from his journey from a childhood in Port Harcourt to his studies in Ghana and NYSC in Sokoto. With its streetwise narrative and dynamic sound, OLIVER positions Wizard Chan as a rising force in Nigerian music, poised to make waves as part of his upcoming album rollout.

Peter Okoye, former member of the now-defunct music duo P-Square, has continued to address the ongoing fraud case involving him and his siblings.

Through a series of posts on X, Peter Okoye revealed that while many initially blamed his wife, Lola, for the controversy, the truth later emerged that his elder brother, Jude Okoye, allegedly manipulated the situation by involving his wife in fraudulent activities.

Peter Okoye claimed that Jude’s wife owns 80% of the company where funds from the P-Square group were reportedly being diverted. He urged the public to consider how differently they might have reacted had his wife been the one responsible.

In addition, Peter shared a 2020 tweet where he invited singer Cynthia Morgan, previously signed to their record label, to join his own label after he left his brother’s label in search of independence. He reflected on how he was often cast as the “bad egg” among his brothers and encouraged Cynthia to persevere.

Peter’s posts included the hashtags #FamilyNeverStealsFromFamily and #IDisownYou, showcasing the deep family rift. This comes amid Peter’s testimony against Jude in the ongoing court hearing over a N1.38 billion fraud case.

Cynthia Morgan calls out Peter Okoye over involvement in family feud

Singer Cynthia Morgan has reacted strongly after being mentioned by Peter Okoye of the defunct P-Square group during his recent online tirade against his brothers, Jude and Paul Okoye.

Peter, in a social media outburst over their ongoing legal dispute, accused his siblings and their publicist of plotting to damage his reputation. In defending his stance, he stated, “I am not May D or Cynthia Morgan,” suggesting that unlike those artists, he wouldn’t allow himself to be discredited or mistreated.

However, the comment did not sit well with Cynthia Morgan. The dancehall artist took to her Instagram story to express her displeasure at being dragged into a personal family issue. Cynthia Morgan criticized Peter Okoye for mentioning her name, especially considering how she felt abandoned during her past fallout with Jude Okoye, who previously managed her under Northside Entertainment.

“I have mixed feelings about my name popping up like this. I am not a weak person. Certain family members made it look so… you @peterpsquare included… until you discovered what they were doing to you too. Na me listen to una sha,” Cynthia wrote.

In a follow-up post, Cynthia revealed a painful personal encounter from 2020. According to her, after Peter publicly tweeted in her defense during her infamous fallout with Jude, she and her mother paid him a visit to express their gratitude. To her shock, Peter allegedly told her he wasn’t supporting her out of concern, but to expose his brothers' shortcomings. He reportedly said he only agreed to the meeting because his wife insisted, adding that she couldn’t fight his brother because Jude was wealthier.

“This one meeting broke me and I moved on, only to always call them out online till they labeled me crazy,” she recalled.

Cynthia added that they reconnected in 2023, during which Peter apologized for his actions. However, she expressed deep disappointment that her name was once again used in a disparaging manner in 2024.

The singer also shared a screenshot of a private chat with Peter where she confronted him about the incident. In the chat, Peter responded by asking for her contact and stating, “It’s beyond that, Need to speak with you asap.”

The incident has since sparked conversations online about loyalty, public betrayal, and the longstanding controversies surrounding P-Square’s family and business affairs.

Questions emerge on Victor Boniface's future at Bayer Leverkusen

Fresh questions have emerged on the future of Victor Boniface at Bayer Leverkusen as the June 2025 transfer window draws closer.

Victor Boniface's future at Bayer Leverkusen is hanging in the balance as the summer transfer window heats up.

The Nigerian striker, who played a pivotal role in Leverkusen's historic unbeaten Bundesliga title win in the 2023/24 season, could be on the move if the right offer comes in.

Boniface's debut season in Germany was nothing short of spectacular. He netted 14 goals in 23 league appearances, helping Leverkusen clinch their first-ever Bundesliga title.

In January, Boniface was on the verge of a lucrative move to Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, with reports suggesting a €60-70 million deal and a €15 million annual salary.

However, the transfer collapsed at the final hurdle, with Al Nassr opting to sign Aston Villa's Jhon Duran instead.

Now, with the summer window open, Leverkusen are reportedly open to selling Boniface for around €50 million.

The club has already signed young forward Christian Kofane and plans to retain Patrik Schick, who is set to be the main striker under new head coach Erik ten Hag.

According to reports Premier League clubs, including Newcastle United, have shown interest in Boniface.

The Magpies are in the market for a striker as they prepare for life after Callum Wilson, and Boniface has emerged as a potential target.

Boniface's time at Leverkusen has not been without controversy. Reports have highlighted instances of on-field disagreements and concerns about his behavior, which may influence the club's decision to sell.

With the transfer market in full swing, Boniface's future remains uncertain. Whether he stays in Germany or moves to a new league, the coming weeks will be crucial in determining the next chapter of his career.

Arsenal's transfer move for Sesko takes a new turn

Arsenal FC’s rumored transfer move for forward, Benjamin Sesko has taken a new turn according to recent reports.

Arsenal according to numerous reports have officially initiated concrete transfer discussions over the potential signing of Slovenian striker Benjamin Šeško, signalling their clear intent to bring the RB Leipzig forward to the Emirates this summer.

After months of monitoring and two failed approaches, the Gunners are now positioning themselves to capitalize on Šeško’s impending exit from the Bundesliga.

Šeško, 21, has long been a key target for Arsenal’s recruitment team. Sources indicate he has been consistently ranked high on the club’s shortlist of forward options, with both Mikel Arteta and sporting director Edu Gaspar deeply involved in tracking his progress.

Arsenal first attempted to secure his services in May 2024, shortly after the end of the Premier League season, and again in January during the winter transfer window.

On both occasions, RB Leipzig rebuffed the North London club’s advances, determined to keep their prized asset until at least the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

However, the landscape has now shifted. Leipzig are understood to have accepted that Šeško will leave the club this summer, and Arsenal are moving fast to ensure they are at the front of the queue.

With the Gunners once again looking to strengthen their attacking options, particularly in the centre-forward role, Šeško’s profile fits the club’s long-term vision: a dynamic, technically gifted, and physically imposing striker with high potential resale value.

Šeško scored 14 goals across all competitions for Leipzig in the 2024/25 season, attracting interest from several top European clubs.

But Arsenal’s persistence, coupled with Arteta’s project and a clear pathway to first-team football, could prove decisive in securing the young striker’s signature.

While the deal is not yet complete, sources close to the situation suggest talks are progressing positively, with Arsenal optimistic they can finalize terms in the coming weeks.

With the June 2025 transfer window heating up, Arsenal appear to be moving decisively to secure their man, one they’ve had their sights on for well over a year.

The next few days will be critical as the North London giants aim to land a key attacking reinforcement to fuel their title ambitions.

Ange Postecoglu reacts to being sacked by Tottenham

Following an official confirmation of his sacking as the head coach of Tottenham, Ange Postecoglu has released a statement.

Tottenham Hotspur have officially parted ways with Ange Postecoglou, just over two weeks after he guided the club to its first major trophy in 17 years, a 1–0 Europa League final victory over Manchester United in Bilbao.

Despite delivering European silverware and Champions League qualification, the decision comes amid mounting concerns over Spurs' domestic performance, including a disappointing 17th-place finish in the Premier League.

The Australian manager, appointed in June 2023, made an immediate impression at the club with his attacking style, transparent communication, and focus on squad development. However, a severe dip in league form, one win in the final 12 games ultimately overshadowed the club’s continental success.

In response to the decision, Postecoglou issued a dignified and emotional farewell statement, reflecting on his two-year journey in North London which read, “When I reflect on my time as Manager of Tottenham Hotspur, my overriding emotion is one of pride. The opportunity to lead one of England’s historic football clubs and bring back the glory it deserves will live with me for a lifetime. Sharing that experience with all those who truly love this club and seeing the impact it had on them is something I will never forget.

“That night in Bilbao was the culmination of two years of hard work, dedication and unwavering belief in a dream. There were many challenges to overcome and plenty of noise that comes with trying to accomplish what many said was not possible. We have also laid foundations that mean this club should not have to wait seven more years for their next success."

“I have enormous faith in this group of players and know there is much more potential and growth in them. I sincerely want to thank those who are the lifeblood of the club, the supporters. I know there were some difficult times but I always felt that they wanted me to succeed, and that gave me all the motivation I needed to push on."

“It's important to acknowledge the hardworking people at Spurs who gave me encouragement on a daily basis. And finally, I want to thank those who were with me every day for the last two years. A fantastic group of young men who are now legends of this football club and the brilliant coaches who never once doubted we could do something special. We are forever connected. Audere est Facere.”

The club, in its official announcement, expressed gratitude for Postecoglou's leadership and achievements, especially ending the club’s long trophy drought.

However, the statement also referenced the need for “more consistent league performance” and “a clearer trajectory for domestic competitiveness.”Tottenham now begin their search for a successor.

Though his time in North London has ended abruptly, Ange Postecoglou departs as the manager who returned European glory to Tottenham Hotspur and perhaps more importantly, reminded its supporters of what’s possible.

Both however acknowledged that Al Hilal have made an improved offer for Victor Osimhen and are looking to complete the deal before the 2025 Club World Cup.

It has also been confirmed that the Turkish League champions Galatasaray are also looking to make a move for Osimhen.

Nasty C & Usimamane - Soft Lyrics

Working hard just to live soft, soft
Picture I could be like Rick Ross, boss
Ice, ice, need a defrost, frost
Shining so hard and my bitch too hard
But her, her bundaa soft, soft
I should make it wet like faucet, faucet
And my v12 exhaust cough, vroom vroom
Sleeping with a blicky and cross, boom boom boom

M and M’s in my account
Ain’t nothing shady, the sun is out
They gotta pay me
It’s not a maybe
They will obey me
I’m not a muthafuckin’ clown (I’m the GOAT)
I’m the one that represents my home town
My diamonds pink, my 45 brown
Dream chaser, I ain’t slowing down now
Nigga, I need a jet with a big-ass lounge

So I’m working hard just to live soft, soft
Picture I could be like Rick Ross, boss
Ice, ice, need a defrost, frost
Shining so hard and my bitch too hard
But her, her bundaa soft, soft
I should make it wet like faucet, faucet
And my v12 exhaust cough, vroom vroom
Sleeping with a blicky and cross, boom boom boom

Hopped out a auto v sports
Chain dancing up and down psycho voice
Whip looking like a frog, but it’s a horse
‘Bout to shit on my opps
On my momma, as a boss
Used to be broke, didn’t have no doe
Ain’t had no money to record
Days gone I would tell my momma we ain’t poor
Counting up racks seems high like Ponte when it closed
For all them years when I was sleeping on the floor, didn’t even call

Working hard just to live soft, soft
Picture I could be like Rick Ross, boss
Ice, ice, need a defrost, frost
Shining so hard and my bitch too hard
But her, her bundaa soft, soft
I should make it wet like faucet, faucet
And my v12 exhaust cough, vroom vroom
Sleeping with a blicky and cross, boom boom boom

Manchester United and Alejandro Garnacho are reportedly set to part ways before the beginning of the 2025/26 football season.

The possible exit of the Portuguese international has been in the news since the final of the 2024/25 Europa League final between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. Alejandro Garnacho was furious that Ruben Amorim left him out of the team that started the game against Spurs playing just 21 minutes in the final.

What did Alejandro Garnacho say about the Europa League final?

"Up until the final I played every round helping the team, and today I play 20 minutes, I don't know. The final will influence [my decision] but the whole season, the situation of the club. I'm going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens afterwards."

Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Garnacho will leave Old Trafford this summer as it is been confirmed on the player and the club side. According to the Italian three Premier League clubs are interested in signing the forward player with Bayer Leverkusen also keen on bringing him to Germany.

Chelsea were close to doing a deal with the 20-year-old in January but the deal failed to see the light of day. Napoli were also keen on the forward, who joined United's academy from Atletico Madrid in October 2020.
